Travertine

Travertine is the calling card of Petro Stone. A limestone tuff in warm honey-beige tones, extracted from our own quarries in Armenia. Its noble texture, soft light, and natural depth make it a versatile material for architecture of any scale.

Formed from sources rich in calcite, travertine has served as a material for palaces and temples for centuries. Its porous structure gives the surface a lively play of light, while the warm palette creates a sense of coziness and solidity. The stone is easy to work with — from rough chipping to mirror polishing.
