Tuff

Tuff is the national stone of Armenia, from which Yerevan is built. A lightweight porous volcanic rock with a rich palette: pink, orange, peach, black. A warm, 'breathable', and surprisingly pliable material.

Armenian tuff is known worldwide for its color range and character. Its low weight reduces the load on structures, while its natural porosity ensures natural thermoregulation. The stone is easy to cut and process, opening up wide possibilities for decoration and carving.
