Privacy notice
This notice explains what happens to the information you send through this site: a quote request, a sample request, or a message by email. It is written in plain language.
Who is responsible
The controller of the information you send us is Petro Stone Armenia LLC (PetroStone).
You can contact us about it at info@petro-stone.ru.
Our office address is 11/5 Gevorg Chaush St, Up&Up Business Centre, Yerevan, Armenia.
What you send us
When you send a quote request or a sample request, our intake service stores what you give it:
- your name, company, role, email address and phone number, and any other contact detail you choose to give
- the project details you give: stone, product, finish, sizes, quantity, destination, dates and your message
- the delivery address, for a sample request
- drawings, schedules, photographs and other files you attach
The service also records a few technical details about the request. They are listed in the next section.
What we record about the request
To handle the request, and to tell people from automated abuse, the service also records:
- the date and time we received it, the language and the page you sent it from, and whether our notification email was delivered
- a one-way hash of your IP address. The key behind the hash is replaced every day and the old key is deleted, so the hash cannot be turned back into your address or matched from one day to the next
- the User-Agent text your browser sends, which names the browser and the type of device
- how long it took you to fill in the form
Why we use it
We use what you send to prepare quotations and samples, to ask questions about your project and to reply to you.
We use the technical details only to keep the forms and this site safe from abuse. We do not use any of it for advertising.
Why we may use it
You ask us to answer your request, and preparing a quotation or a sample is a step before a contract. We cannot do that without the details you give us.
We keep the technical details and use them against abuse because we have a legitimate interest in keeping the forms and this site safe and working.
Where it is kept
Requests are stored on a server used by the company, outside the public web folders. Attached files are stored privately and are never published.
A request may also be forwarded to our sales team by email, and a confirmation may be sent to the address you gave.
Request details and attached files are also delivered to our sales team through the Telegram messenger.
Who handles it for us
We do not sell personal information. Your request is seen by our sales team, and by the providers that run this site for us, only as far as they need it to do that:
- our hosting provider, which keeps the server and the stored requests
- Cloudflare, which delivers the site and filters abusive traffic, and therefore sees your IP address and the requests your browser makes
- our email delivery provider, when email delivery is switched on
- Telegram, the messenger through which request details and attached files reach our sales team
If your order needs a freight forwarder or another partner, we share only what the delivery requires.
How long we keep it
We keep a request for as long as it is needed to handle it and the business correspondence that follows, and then we delete it. The technical details are part of the request and are deleted with it.
Your choices
Write to info@petro-stone.ru to ask what we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. You can also ask us to limit how we use it, to object to a use that rests on our legitimate interest, or to stop writing to you. We reply by email.
If you think we have handled your information wrongly, you can also complain to the data protection authority in your country.
Cookies and analytics
This site does not use advertising cookies. Hosting and security providers may set technical cookies that are needed to deliver the site safely.
Analytics are off by default. A notice asks for your consent first, and nothing is loaded from Google until you accept. Your choice is kept in your browser, and the site works the same if you decline.
If you accept, we use Google Analytics 4 to see how this site is used and to improve it. It records the pages you open, your clicks and other actions on them, your device and browser, and your approximate location, which Google works out from your IP address. What you type into the forms is not sent to Google Analytics. Google Analytics keeps this data for 14 months.
With your consent, Google Analytics sets two cookies in your browser: _ga, which tells visitors apart, and _ga_WNBRVZ8KYM, which keeps the state of your visit. Each is kept for up to two years.
Google Analytics is provided by Google Ireland Limited. Google LLC in the United States may process the data as well, so your data may be transferred to the United States.
You can withdraw your consent at any time. Choose “Cookie settings” in the footer of any page: this erases your choice, switches Google Analytics off, deletes its two cookies and shows the notice again.
The forms may keep a draft of your answers in your browser’s session storage so that a reload does not lose them. It stays on your device.
If you switch between the light and the dark theme, your choice is stored in your browser (local storage) so that the site remembers it. It is not sent to us.
If you accept, the site also counts visits on our own server: which pages are opened and for how long, which contact buttons are pressed, which site or advertising link a visitor came from, and the type of device and its time zone. Each visit is kept for 14 months as a record without your IP address, name or contact details; if you send a form during the visit, the record notes only that a form was sent. Your IP address and browser name are used only in memory, as an irreversible code, to tell one visit from another during the day, and are not stored. No cookie is set for this, and withdrawing your consent stops it.
The chat on this site
The chat on this site is provided by Rinkoto, a service that runs on a server in the European Union (app.rinkoto.com). Your messages are processed by an AI provider (OpenRouter) to write the replies, and they may be forwarded to our staff in Telegram. The chat keeps a session identifier and your conversation in your browser’s local storage for 24 hours.
